The Urban Network

Newport Beach, California
March 21st-24th – The FM Lounge, an event set up within the Urban Network Conference in Newport Beach, California. This is a great place for independent and signed artists to begin developing buzz about their projects. The FM Lounge, specifically, is a great place for ‘neo-soul,’ ‘nu-soul’, ‘progessive soul,’ ‘soul,’ ‘progressive hip-hop,’ you name it, artists to get some head way. It is hosted by Thornell Jones and The Fortress marketing group. Thornell is the former Marketing Director for Hidden Beach Recordings and was responsible for, among other things, the marketing of both Jill Scott and Kindred during his time there.
