Mika has been singing since the ripe age of 5 and was born & raised in Harlem, NYC. Her love for music began as most youth, listening to her parents play all those old school tunes like Earth Wind & Fire, Chaka, Stevie Wonder, Teena Marie, Gladys Knight & the list goes on…. Performing in school plays & attending music & dance workshops allowed her to come into her own & become the amazing singer she is today. She has recorded with local artists as well as artists from around the world. Mika is a singer/songwriter/dancer/actress & loves the arts as a whole & is looking forward to work with artists from all genre’s of music.

Dexter “Wordsmith” Jones:
WordSmith Jones is a 21-year-old poet who has stood out as a substantial writer and an engaging performer since the age of fifteen. Once known as Love Jones, this Brooklyn, NY-born spoken word artist has written a collection of poetry that teaches and spreads the universal concept of love, redemption, Afrikan history and empowerment. Ever since Word picked up the pen, he has been referred to as “The Truth”. WordSmith delivers powerful testimonials of “hurtful truth on healing terms” from different perspectives. Whenever he speaks he is not only heard, but is felt by any audience. Over his career he has been compared to such great lyricists as Saul Williams, Mos Def, Nas, Immortal Technique, Dead Prez, and X-Clan. More than just a writer, Word is also a photographer, graphic designer, singer, and performer. This young native tongue poet is an artist in almost every sense of the word.

Ainsley Burrows:
Internationally acclaimed poet, Ainsley Burrows has performed at festivals, cafés and institutions across Europe, America, Canada and the Caribbean, receiving numerous awards. These include Best International Performer of 2001 and 2002 from the Farrago Poetry Café in London, Munich’s International Poetry Slam Championship award in 2001 and awards from the Nuyorican Poet’s Café in 2001 (for participating in the National team) and the in 2004 (for being the Coach of the National team). In addition, Ainsley has conducted many workshops from London’s Hackney Community College to New York’s Julliard School of Music.

Much like the pied piper, wherever he goes, his audience follows. Many have followed his career which is set to explode with the release of his fifth recording entitled, EVOLVER, but wait a minute…where did this bard, known as Ainsley Burrows come from? Life began for Ainsley on the Caribbean island of Jamaica where he attended Kingston College whose motto “Fortis Cadre Cedre Non Potis” translates from Latin to mean “the brave may fall but never yield.” The impressionable “fortis” migrated to Brooklyn, New York as a teenager in 1990 to join his family….
